5 lamb chops in a rack. 2 small spring onions. 1/2 bulb of garlic. Oil. A pinch of salt. A pinch of pepper. Fresh rosemary
Peel the spring onions and the half bulb of garlic, put them in the Steam Roaster, and cook in the oven for 10 minutes at 180 ºC. Remove the excess of fat from the lamb rack and add it to the spring onions and the garlic. Roast for 20-25 minutes at the same temperature. Let stand for 5 minutes with the Steam Roaster closed. Spring onions, garlic and other similar vegetables can be added to a lot of recipes because, being rich in water and fibre, they provide flavour without adding calories. Their particular taste and smell are due to volatile and spicy essential oils containing sulphur. These, together with flavonoids, endow these vegetable with antioxidant features.
