Cockles with lemon and ham

Ingredients

  • 200 g raw cockles
  • 1 slice Iberian ham
  • 2 sprigs chives
  • 1 sprig parsley
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 dash white wine
  • Salt

Preparation

  1. Finely chop the ham. Wash the lemon and grate some peel. Chop the chives and parsley
  2. Place the cockles in the mini steam case and pour the white wine over them. Place in the microwave at 650-800W for 3 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, in a bowl, blend the chives, parsley, lemon peel, a few drops of lemon, olive oil and a pinch of salt.
  4. Remove the mini steam case from the microwave, open and sprinkle with the chopped ham and the lemon sauce. Tip: You can also serve the ham and sauce in the mini steam case compartments once opened, so guests can help themselves.
